Eric Rush is a legend of the 7s game. Well respected as one of the greatest ever 7s players having played in 60 tournaments for the All Blacks 7s winning 2 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and a World Cup 7s winners medal as well as playing 9 tests for the All Blacks at XVs. Rush’s levels of commitment to training and conditioning are the stuff of legend and it is this work ethic which kept him in the professional game until the age of 39.
