Carl’s usual position was at prop. He was a part of the All Blacks squad at both the 1999 and 2003 Rugby World Cup. Carl played club rugby for the Highlanders in New Zealand and for Castres Olympique and Toulouse in France. After his retirement from rugby in late 2011 he became coach and entered the provincial side Waikato’s staff as assistant for the scrum.

SERIA MEJOR SI TRADUCIERAN AL ESPAÑOL

Argentina

why it says its unavialable?

Colombia

Good language to take away: Shape, connection, timing. Very clear. Also clear language on using the ground to generate force. Good correction on timing. I learned a couple of great things in a very short clip.

Canada

Clear, useful, practical. Not too long either. Well shot by cameraman. Good HD. Clean audio.

Australia

Carl articulates the technical aspects of the scrum very well. I particularly enjoyed learning about the prop lock relationship & how they can best stay connected. Is there any chance of a vide on binding techniques?

New Zealand

this is great to see proper form and what each player is to look like in scrum, and how the feet are to be used

Canada

Excellent, the single man sled makes it easy to isolate the key skills from each player in the scrum, in order to make an 8 man unit.

France

Hi, I am a Defense coach, but this is exremely valuable from an education point of view, the part where the importance of the lock, flanker and prop’s timing in the forward push is most insightful, greetings from South Africa, Go Bokke go!
