Our coaching videos delivered directly by the world’s greatest coaches and player are relevant for all levels of the game. Nowhere else can players learn kicking from Dan Carter and Leigh Halfpenny, tackling from Courtney Lawes, lineout throwing from Bismarck Du Plessis and breakdown technique from Richie McCaw and Sam Warburton.
Video is an increasingly useful and important tool for rugby coaching and The Rugby Site is available online as well as an iOS app, meaning videos can be downloaded and watched anytime, anywhere.
Here is a taster of what players can learn:
Dan Carter himself said that he would like to watch a module from Bismarck Du Plessis on tackling, after that tackle in 2013.
Dan said of the site, “As a player there is no better site to learn from, as a young player if I had a chance to learn from these quality players, that all have slight different perspectives and different ways of doing things, that knowledge would be so valuable.”
Richie McCaw emphasised the unique global perspective that The Rugby Site provides, “The thing about rugby is there’s no one way of doing things, the great thing about The Rugby Site is that you can find out how Sam Warburton approaches a cleanout which will be a little different to me, and how Bismark approaches it, again will be a little bit different.”
How it Works: Players choose 6 videos, relevant to them and their position. They will have unlimited access to these videos for 6 months.
